Players are occupants of a small village on the outskirts of Athens in 2500 BC competing while building a temple to a Greek goddess. At the beginning of the game, players choose secretly from the following goddesses: Aphrodite (love), Artemis (hunting), Athena (wisdom), Demetra (agriculture), Hestia (the hearth) and Nike (victory).
