How It Plays
Action Points
You get a limited number of action points each turn and choose how to spend them — prioritizing is everything.
Pick-up and Deliver
You pick up goods from one location and deliver them to another for rewards — efficient routes mean big payoffs.
Point to Point Movement
You move between connected locations on the board — the map's layout decides your travel options.
Set Collection
You're gathering matching groups of cards or tokens to score points — the more complete your sets, the better you do.
About This Game
Hansa: The Compass is a small expansion for Michael Schacht's board game Hansa that randomizes the direction of movement on the game board. Before the game begins, one player spins the "compass" tile. Depending on which side is face-up, the merchant ship either moves with or against the arrows on the game board for the entirety of the game.
