About This Game
The Northern Theatre of Operations 1939-40 is an effort to expand the existing EUROPA games both in scale and scope; in scale by making game components and time frames EUROPA standard, in scope by adding an extensive naval module to the rules set, by starting the game at an earlier date, and by expanding the theatre of operations to the entire Scandinavian peninsula.[...] The campaign begins with the Axis player turn of Dec I 1939.
