About This Game

One of the first modules of the Star Fleet Battles Captain's Edition line. Star Fleet Battles - Captain's Module B: Terrain Maps, came out before the Star Fleet Battles Captain's Edition Basic Set since it could also be used with the previous Star Fleet Battles Commander's Edition. This module contains six scenarios and six terrain maps for Star Fleet Battles: The terrain maps include: Ringed Gas Giant (Dimensions of Saturn) Blackfoot Pass (A famous "historical" asteroid field along the Federation/Klingon Border with a narrow pass through the field) Asteroid Field (1) Asteroid Belt (2) Black Hole (Showing the gravitational effects zones as described in SFB) Open Space (Standard 30x42 Hex Map) The back cover of this module also includes a cutout of a: Thoilian Web (Three layer web, typically found around Tholian Bases) Notes: (1) republished as bonus with special back ground in Scenario Book #2 (2) republished as bonus with special back ground in Scenario Book #1
