Community Snapshot
Rated 6.2 by the community, Concordia: Venus (Expansion) brings deck building to 2–6 players in about 60–120 min.
How It Plays
Communication Limits
You can't just say whatever you want to your teammates — the game limits what you can share, which makes every hint count.
Deck, Bag, and Pool Building
You start with a basic set of cards or tokens and gradually add better ones — watch your engine grow stronger over time.
Follow
When one player takes an action, others can follow along with a weaker version — piggyback on good moves!
Hand Management
You have a hand of cards and deciding which to play, save, or discard is the core puzzle.
Investment
You put resources into ventures that pay off later — patience and timing can lead to huge returns.
Point to Point Movement
You move between connected locations on the board — the map's layout decides your travel options.
Team-Based Game
Players split into teams and work together to outplay the other side — teamwork makes the dream work!
About This Game
Concordia Venus includes new personality cards with the goddess Venus allowing for new strategies, two maps (Hellas/Ionium) on which to play (using components from the Concordia base game in addition to new cards), and rules that enable teams of two players to play against one another. Note: This listing is for the Concordia Venus expansion; the standalone version of Concordia Venus can be found here. The standalone version includes more maps (Imperium/Cyprus in addition to Hellas/Ionium) than this expansion does (because the base game already includes Imperium, and Cyprus is available as part of Concordia: Balearica / Cyprus).
