About This Game

''Ambuscades & Affairs of Outposts This supplement for Knyghte Pyke and Sworde expands the rules to cover the beginning of Pike&Shot warfare in the late 1500s. This is a period of transition from medieval warfare to the era of gun powder, where armored knights and archers were making their last desperate gestures, rubbing shoulders with musketeers and cannon. Included is an overview of the period, new rules for pike blocks and pistol armed cavalry, 6 scenarios usable with any armies as well as a collection of ready-to-play profiles (with points values) for the following armies: Spanish, Dutch, Huguenots, French Catholics, English, Irish, English Sea Dogs and Spanish Colonial Troops. —description from the publisher
