How It Plays

Area Movement

You move your pieces across different regions on the board, trying to position yourself in the best spots.

Campaign / Battle Card Driven

Special cards trigger events and drive the action forward — each card played can shift the whole narrative.

Dice Rolling

You roll dice to determine outcomes — there's always that thrilling moment of suspense before they land!

Hand Management

You have a hand of cards and deciding which to play, save, or discard is the core puzzle.

Line of Sight

Your units can only interact with what they can directly see on the board — positioning matters a lot.

Player Elimination

Players can be knocked out before the game ends — play carefully or you might be watching from the sidelines.

Scenario / Mission / Campaign Game

You play through linked missions or scenarios that build on each other — it's like an epic adventure in chapters.

Variable Player Powers

Each player has unique abilities that make their experience different — finding the best way to use yours is half the fun.

About This Game

Nidhogg - The Corpse Eater. Dwelling between the roots of the World Tree, this strange creature spends his time attacking the bark and draining the sap of Yggdrasil, devouring Oathbreakers' corpses in the snake walled-fortress of Naströnd and waiting for the end of time—when he will carry the dead on his wings. But, of course, the end of time has arrived, and Nidhögg intends to enjoy himself as the worlds collapse.
