About This Game

The Gettysburg Campaign is a game that recreates the Battle of Gettysburg, which was the de facto decisive battle of the American Civil War, at a strategic level. Riding on the momentum of winning the Battle of Chancellorsville, Confederate General Lee planned a further offensive in the North. The targets were Baltimore and Philadelphia, and by capturing them, they were trying to discourage the North from continuing the war.…
