Special cards trigger events and drive the action forward — each card played can shift the whole narrative.

Command Cards

Special cards let you issue orders to your units — picking the right command at the right time is critical.

Hexagon Grid

The board uses hexagons instead of squares — this gives you more directions to move and think about.

Line of Sight

Your units can only interact with what they can directly see on the board — positioning matters a lot.

About This Game

Lack of supplies, disease, and skirmishes at night were common in the Pacific. Combating the tropical setting as well as an enemy determined to battle to the last man, fighting on the islands was completely different than in Europe. The thousand-yard stare was a common trait among the fighting troops in the Pacific due to the strain of these conditions.…
