About This Game
Every time a demigod enters The Pools when being moved out of the Abyss, the player moving them activates the current modifier on the Renewal Die. That player then re-rolls the renewal die, resulting in a new modifier for the next player to move a demigod from the Abyss to the Pools. The Renewal Die replaces the permanent 'refresh card' effect that normally activates in the Pools, creating more dynamic gameplay and ever-shifting strategies surrounding how players use the Abyss.
