About This Game

Railheads: Switzerland is a cube rails game about the development of the Swiss rail network and how the strategic geographical location of Switzerland, nestled among the Alps, made its rail transport essential for connecting northern and southern Europe. Through the use of a highly interactive and cascading action selection mechanism the players compete by laying tracks, constructing tunnels, developing industries, making investments, and managing loans made available by Credit Suisse with one ultimate goal in mind, to be the wealthiest magnate when the game ends. Railheads: Switzerland is the third installment in a series of cube rails games that all share a prime action selection mechanism as well as a central theme of both railroad network and industry refinement getting developed in tandem. —description from the designer
