About This Game
From May 11-13, two German armored divisions acting as part of the German "Cape" from Fall Gelb plunged into Belgium between Maastricht and Liege, meeting the French Cavalry Corps consisting of two French Divisions Leger Mechanique (DLMs), among the best armored formations in the French Army of 1940. The French under General Prioux established a series of hedgehogs in various villages along the anticipated German line of advance on a south-easterly 20km line from Huy on the Meuse in the south to the very edge of the British line near Tirlemont in the north. During two days of intense combat, the French gave as good as they got, succeeding in their mission of delaying the German army from reaching the "Gembloux Gap" where the very powerful French 1st Army was still assembling.…
