About This Game
Sophonisba and the Battle of Great Plains is an expansion module for SQPR in GMT Games' Great Battles of History Series. It is a tactical simulation of a combat from the late Second Punic War on African soil in which Scipio's Roman army met a combined Carthaginian and Numdian force in an area 75 miles southwest of Utica called The Great Plains. The Carthaginians were lead by Hannibal's less famous brother, Hasdrubal, and the Numidians by King Syphax.…
