How It Plays
Grid Movement
Pieces move on a grid of squares — straightforward movement that still leaves room for deep tactical thinking.
Hexagon Grid
The board uses hexagons instead of squares — this gives you more directions to move and think about.
Modular Board
The board is made of separate pieces arranged differently each game — no two setups are ever quite the same.
Network and Route Building
You connect locations to form networks — the bigger and smarter your network, the more points you earn.
Pick-up and Deliver
You pick up goods from one location and deliver them to another for rewards — efficient routes mean big payoffs.
Tile Placement
You lay tiles on the table to build a map, landscape, or pattern — every piece you place changes the board.
About This Game
This expansion for Roads & Boats features 20 new scenarios, new land tiles (Polder, City), pieces for 5/6 players in grey and black, planes in 6 colors, new producers (Pearls, MBA, Bomb, Atelier, Power Plant) and resources. Rules are included for: electricity, managers, art, exhibitions, trade between players, polder terrain, cities, quick start, fundamental research, planes, trains, and bombs. &Cetera contains all the rules and material previously published as Planes & Trains, plus a lot more, and is compatible with the 2nd, 3rd and 4th edition base game.
