The King's Caste

The King's Caste is a modified Tarot deck that was designed to answer this question: What if European Chess were a card game? It is compatible to any Standard Card game, or Tarot Card game, yet there are subtle differences that allow for wider range of game play/design. The 86-card deck contains the following: 16 cards in each of the four French suits (spades, hearts, diamonds, and clubs): 10 numbered cards: 8 pawns (value 1–8, #1 is hashed) 2 bishops (value 9–10, #10 is hashed) 6 face cards: 2 rooks (one hashed) 2 knights (one hashed) 1 queen 1 king 22 trump cards I–XXI 0
