Ímpar is a trick-taking game with pieces in which you want to avoid winning tricks, as whoever plays the highest piece wins the trick and scores points—and whoever has scored the fewest points at the end wins the game. The game's biggest difference lies in its limited information: throughout the game, you can't see the front of your own pieces, only the back—which indicates the suit color and whether the piece is odd or even—while clearly observing your opponent's pieces.
