Since 2017, Twilight Imperium: Fourth Edition has captivated fans of dice rolling and variable powers with its heavy complexity design, shining brightest at 6 players.
How It Plays
Action Drafting
Players take turns picking from a shared pool of available actions — grab the one you need before someone else does!
Area-Impulse
Areas on the board activate one at a time, and you decide how to use each impulse — timing is everything.
Dice Rolling
You roll dice to determine outcomes — there's always that thrilling moment of suspense before they land!
Follow
When one player takes an action, others can follow along with a weaker version — piggyback on good moves!
Grid Movement
Pieces move on a grid of squares — straightforward movement that still leaves room for deep tactical thinking.
Hexagon Grid
The board uses hexagons instead of squares — this gives you more directions to move and think about.
King of the Hill
One player holds a coveted position and everyone else tries to knock them off — can you stay on top?
Modular Board
The board is made of separate pieces arranged differently each game — no two setups are ever quite the same.

These seventeen races are offered many paths to victory, but only one may sit upon the throne of Mecatol Rex as the new masters of the galaxy.…
