Area Movement
You move your pieces across different regions on the board, trying to position yourself in the best spots.
Hand Management
You have a hand of cards and deciding which to play, save, or discard is the core puzzle.
Modular Board
The board is made of separate pieces arranged differently each game — no two setups are ever quite the same.
Tile Placement
You lay tiles on the table to build a map, landscape, or pattern — every piece you place changes the board.

Originally released in 2010, designer David Brain and developer Richard Breese have now re-visited Key Market, adding four new guilds to the game and updating a number of the original guilds to give an even more challenging gaming experience. All of the guilds have been re-evaluated based on ongoing playing experiences and comments, including the Key Worker guild.
